We are proud to announce that we will be taking part in the grand opening of the Graham Windham Foundation HP Learning Studio, a New York City school for 300 at-risk students. The grand opening will take place on November 10th, 2017 in Hudson, NY. At the event, attendees will be able to see and experience the most up-to-date technology in the industry that will now be available for student use.
HP and MRA International have gifted each student and their teachers with HP Chromebook x360 Education Edition convertible laptops and created a 21st Century “maker” lab featuring a Dremel 3D Printer and Sprout Pro by HP immersive workstation. In addition to the implementation plan, they are working to improve the school’s infrastructure to improve new technology, train teachers in the software and develop metrics that will be measured over time. We also orchestrated the logistics of fulfilling the orders for the equipment, provided wireless assessments / surveys for the network recommendations and all delivery of the devices.
MRA International will now continue to support this technology overhaul and provide professional training and ongoing support for the technology products. HP will also conduct research on how this technological intervention affects student performance, standardized test scores, graduation rates, college acceptances and other measurable improvements.
With HP, we hope that the access to personal technology and broadband access will provide resources to those who need them most. With our specialized experience in educational technology, we plan to help students overcome the challenges they face in the digital divide.
